Meet the founder
A Personal Note
From Our Founder
Hello, I'm Fabiola, the founder of Mum-Kini.
As a mother, I understand how easy it can be to become so focused on caring for everyone else that you slowly begin to lose touch with yourself.
Motherhood is filled with beautiful moments, but it can also bring challenges that we don't always talk about. Somewhere between raising our children, managing responsibilities, and meeting the expectations placed on us, we sometimes forget that we're still women with our own dreams, emotions, interests, and needs.
I've experienced those feelings myself, and I've also seen other mothers struggle to find their way back to themselves.
But Mum-Kini was inspired by more than my experiences with motherhood. It was also shaped by love, loss, and the remarkable women who have been part of my life.
Losing my best friend was one of those experiences that changed me. She believed deeply in the importance of community, especially creating spaces where women could come together, support one another, and feel a sense of belonging. Her passion stayed with me.
Later, I experienced the heartbreaking loss of two of my sisters. Both were passionate about healing, emotional intelligence, and the importance of understanding ourselves and our emotions. Their passing has given me an even greater determination to build something meaningful.
Through Mum-Kini, I want to carry forward the values these women believed in: connection, compassion, healing, emotional awareness, and the power of women supporting women.
Mum-Kini is not just about helping mothers rediscover themselves. It's also about reminding women that they don't have to navigate every season of life alone.
I created this space for the mother who feels overwhelmed, the woman who has put her dreams aside, and anyone who needs a gentle reminder that her well-being matters, too.
Through thoughtful articles, guided journals, reflection exercises, and practical wellness resources, I hope to encourage women to pause, reconnect with themselves, and embrace their personal growth.
I don't have everything figured out. I'm still learning, healing, growing, and discovering new things about myself.
We don't have to be perfect to begin again. We don't have to have all the answers to move forward. And we don't have to lose ourselves in the process of caring for others.
My hope is that Mum-Kini becomes a community where women feel seen, heard, supported, and encouraged to become the fullest version of themselves.
I'm so glad you're here.
You deserve to feel like you again.
With love,
Fabiola
